During the six week study abroad program, four of those weeks will be spent in the classroom. You can choose a max. 2 courses (in addition to a Czech language and protocol class). Each class is worth four (4) US credit hours or seven (7) ECTS credits, dependent on your University.

The International Business, Global Marketing, Leadership and Global Meetings and Exhibitions courses are designed for college students and recent graduates interested in business, international business, marketing and entrepreneurship. Class sessions will be followed by afternoon site visits to business and industry. Some site visits are scheduled, while others will be arranged based upon an individual students interest. Faculty and local staff will assist students in arranging visits to companies they are interested in visiting as part of their program, providing a great opportunity for personal networking. Local experts guide students through the logistics of getting situated in their new surroundings and assist with all aspects of adjusting to local customs and traditions.
The Central European History course is ideal if you wish to use the city of Prague as your classroom, exploring the nooks and crannies of the world of art and history. The History program provides a comprehensive historical and political study of Central and Eastern Europe from the Fall of the Roman Empire to the present. Emphasis will be placed on the economic and society development of the middle ages, age of Reformation, development of the idea of kingdoms merging into independent states, 20th century events and the collapse of communism. The professors will guide you in discovering the hidden wonders of this unique city where reality meets the surrealistic and show you more closely how it has grown and developed over centuries. Classroom lectures will be combined with regular excursions throughout Prague. You will get a chance to visit churches, galleries and artist’s studios in order to get in touch with both the city’s history and contemporary art life.
*You will need to provide the course syllabi to your respective university's Dean and/or Academic Adviser. for credit transfer prior to applying for a GP program.
Site Visits: Class sessions will be followed by afternoon site visits to locally run, internationally operating businesses in Prague. Some site visits are scheduled while others will be arranged by students based on their personal interests. Faculty and local staff will assist with making these connections and then the opportunity is yours for personal networking!
Athletics + Training
While abroad you will not only have the opportunity to compete in 2 European tournaments but you will have organized training days with your GP teammates. Training days include strength and agility, skills and drills and inter-squad scrimmages. You are also encouraged to bring along your University summer training packet to complete so you are well prepared for the upcoming season when you return.
