 The Intern in Belize study abroad program prioritizes hands-on work experience and intercultural learning. This international internship program offers a  mutually beneficial solution to participants who are interested in structured career-oriented experiences tailored to meet personal and professional goals while meeting the needs of grassroots organizations in Belize.

Possibilities could include working with a grassroot organization to design presentations for elementary and high school students about sexual and reproductive health or developing a back-yard gardening program that teaches people living in urban areas how to grow their own food. 

The Intern in Belize study abroad program integrates an interactive intercultural learning curriculum with a structured academic framework to further increase knowledge and practice of 21st-century employability skills.
