Program Description:
Undergraduate research allows you to explore your discipline in depth while making an original contribution to the field. Undergraduate research allows you to explore your discipline in depth while making an original contribution to the field. Students will avail of rich opportunities abroad, in their area of study. Research students can expect to benefit from 20-40 hours of supervision per week in their research placements.

Global Undergraduate Research Placements

Research placements will vary by country, based on your research interest. Our research applicants are typically placed in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom. However, we will work with you if you prefer another destination.

Where Will I Live?

We match students with a local family near their placement that’ll create a home-away-from-home for them. Living with a family immerses students in Irish life, culture, and customs. Not to mention the cooking!
