Program Overview
The culture learning program will help you to understand how the young nation of Belize with its diverse cultures, languages, and ethnicities drawn from indigenous and diaspora communities creates a successful society with a proud national identity.
You will build a foundation with universal elements of culture and identity and explore the history and cultural heritage of six distinct ethnic groups in Belize. In addition, you will walk away from this program with a deeper understanding of your own culture.

A program steeped in history will bring your studies alive with a structured framework for interacting with various ethnic populations and learning to transform your own intercultural relationships in society and in the workplace.
This program is perfect for lower-division students in the humanities or social science requirement with an emphasis on international and multicultural topics.
