Construction and Renovation Volunteer Project in Nepal.
On this program, you will assist with a wide range of building and maintenance activities in locations around Nepal. Volunteers gain experience in construction and renovation while providing help with improvements and upgrades to local infrastructure and facilities that will make a tangible, lasting impact on the community.
On arrival in Nepal, volunteers stay in a local hotel in Kathmandu for their two-day orientation. Volunteers are then accommodated together in homestays and hosted by local families who have been approved by our program staff. We give your host family a fee for your support, food and board. It is exciting to stay with a host family, providing you with a unique opportunity to learn about the Nepalese way of life, meet local people, try traditional food and speak the local language - especially when host families in Nepal tend to have limited English.
The program has
start dates the first and third Monday every month throughout the year.
This program ranges from 1-12 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available

Your Impact
As a Construction and Renovation volunteers you will help with projects in schools, community learning centers, childcare centers, other educational facilities and on infrastructure projects in the areas in and around Kathmandu, Chitlang, Pokhara and Chitwan. Volunteer tasks can include:

How to Apply
- Select your start date & duration: All IVHQ volunteer programs are available year-round and you can choose to volunteer for durations on this program ranging from 1 to 12 weeks.
- Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Registration Fee.
- Pay your Program Fee: This is only due 30 days before your program starts.
Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 14 days before you start.
