Program Description:
IVHQ Childcare in Vietnam
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, and support the Childcare Volunteer Program in Vietnam.

On this program, you will assist in early childhood centers in Ho Chi Minh City. Volunteers gain childcare experience while helping with day-to-day tasks and giving local children the valuable opportunity to hear English spoken fluently.

You’ll stay in an IVHQ volunteer dormitory at a tourism college which is a 30-minute drive from the tourist area of Ho Chi Minh City.

The program has start dates every Monday throughout the year.

This program ranges from 1-24 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available on our website.
 
Your Impact

As a Childcare volunteer you’ll be assisting local teachers with children between 3 and 5 years old. Your day will be split between a morning and afternoon lesson, with children having a nap in the middle of the day. Volunteer duties can vary but usually include:
  • Playing games
  • You can be either leading a class as the head teacher, or assisting a local teacher with lessons
  • Assisting at meal times and with other activities
  • Teaching English in a fun and supportive environment

  • Select your start date & duration: All IVHQ volunteer programs are available year-round and you can choose to volunteer for durations on this program ranging from 1 to 24 weeks.
  • Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Registration Fee.
  • Pay your Program Fee: This is only due 30 days before your program starts.
Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 14 days before you start.
