Construction Philippines
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, and support the Construction and Renovation Volunteer Project in the Philippines.

On this program, you will assist with building and maintenance tasks at local schools and medical centers. Volunteers gain construction and renovation experience while helping to upgrade and improve these facilities so they are safer, more useful and more attractive for the people they serve.

You’ll stay in dormitory-style accommodation in Tigman Village.

The program has start dates every Monday throughout the year.

This program ranges from 1-24 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available on our website.
 
Your Impact

As a Construction and Renovation volunteer, you’ll help with light building work around Palawan. The project is set up so you’ll spend time contributing to tasks that are in the most urgent need for assistance at the time. That means you’re likely to help on a number of different sites during your time volunteering. A flexible approach to working wherever your help is required will help you to add the most value as a volunteer. Volunteer duties vary but can include:
  • Renovations
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Restoration and repairs
  • Carpentry
  • Landscaping

  • Select your start date & duration: All IVHQ volunteer programs are available year-round and you can choose to volunteer for durations on this program ranging from 1 to 24 weeks.
  • Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Registration Fee.
  • Pay your Program Fee: This is only due 30 days before your program starts.
Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 14 days before you start.
