Program Description:
Sports Brazil
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, on the Sports Education Volunteer Program in Brazil.

You will be in a community center in Rio de Janeiro where you will gain experience in teaching and can share your love of sport. The locals already love sport, especially football, and children and young people in particular will benefit from the chance to take part in healthy physical activity in a safe environment supported by volunteers.

Volunteers stay in a hostel in the central Rio neighborhood of Glória, which is a short walk from the metro station.

Programs start on the first and third Monday of every month throughout the year.

This program ranges from 2-24 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available on our website.
 
Your Impact

As a Sports volunteer with IVHQ you’ll be assisting local staff to provide opportunities for healthy, fun and constructive recreational activities to children, teenagers, adults, seniors and those with disabilities in a safe and supportive environment.

Sports volunteer work can vary but usually includes:

  • Select your start date & duration: All IVHQ volunteer programs are available year-round and you can choose to volunteer for durations on this program ranging from 2 to 24 weeks.
  • Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Registration Fee.
  • Pay your Program Fee: This is only due 30 days before your program starts.
Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 14 days before you start.
