Join
International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, on the Childcare project in
Buenos Aires or
Cordoba. On this program, you will help out in local daycares, kindergartens and soup kitchens where children come from disadvantaged communities. Volunteers will gain childcare experience while giving their time, care and attention to children who will have a better chance of continuing their education and later finding the kind of job that could make a real difference to their lives and families. In Buenos Aires, the project is based in a soup kitchen that caters to dozens of children and teens from marginalized communities every day. By volunteering you’ll gain experience in childcare and cooking, while the children will benefit from a healthy meal as well as your time, energy and attention.
In Buenos Aires, volunteers are accommodated in a multi-story, dormitory-style volunteer hostel in the neighborhood of Recoleta.
In Cordoba, volunteers are accommodated in a family homestay in Barrio El Refugio, a peaceful neighborhood, 15 - 20 minutes drive from Córdoba airport, and 30 minutes drive to the city center. Your hostess is also your coordinator so our local team will be very easy to approach and always available in case you need anything. This two-story homestay has great facilities for volunteers, including a barbecue area and a swimming pool which is available in the summer.
Both programs have
start dates every Monday throughout the year.
This program ranges from 1-12 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available
on our website.
