Program Description:
Holiday South Africa
Join International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, and support the Holiday Club Volunteer Project in South Africa.

On this program, you will make a meaningful difference to the local community by helping keep students engaged in constructive, positive ways during the school holidays. Volunteers gain childcare, teaching and youth work experience while helping local staff plan, arrange and run a program of fun and productive activities including games, field trips, cooking, hikes and crafts.

You’ll stay in volunteer houses and can expect to share a room with one to nine other volunteers.

The program has start dates every Monday throughout the year.

This program ranges from 1-24 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available on our website.
 
Your Impact

During the school holidays, only the Holiday Club project is available in Table View. There is a whole lot of variety and fun, as the idea is simply to give students interesting and productive things to do during their holidays. Volunteers help to arrange and run activities such as:
  • Mini putt
  • Picnics
  • Hikes
  • Visits to the aquarium, power station or the beach
  • Game days, beach days, craft days, baking days and more

  • Select your start date & duration: All IVHQ volunteer programs are available year-round and you can choose to volunteer for durations on this program ranging from 1 to 24 weeks.
  • Complete your registration: After you have been accepted on your chosen program, you can secure your place by paying the Registration Fee.
  • Pay your Program Fee: This is only due 30 days before your program starts.
Need to make changes to your booking? You can make free unlimited changes to your destination, project and dates up until 14 days before you start.
