International Volunteer HQ, the world’s leading volunteer travel organization, and support the
Climate Change Volunteering in Italy.
On this program, you will support local non-profits in fighting climate change and promoting environmental conservation. IVHQ volunteers work alongside local volunteers in disadvantaged suburbs of Rome to mitigate the effects of climate change through tree planting, and raise public awareness. This volunteer project also helps to foster community connection as a way to respond to social isolation, poverty and exclusion.
Volunteers are accommodated in a central camping lodge in Rome. You can expect to share a room with one other volunteer of the same gender.
The program has
start dates the second and fourth Monday of every month throughout the year.
This program ranges from 2-12 weeks. Your fully-hosted experience includes airport pick-up, orientation, accommodation, meals and 24/7 support. Detailed pricing information for your duration is available
on our website.
Your Impact
