Eligibility requirement

Suitable for interns who are pursuing an associated career path. Interns in at least their second year of study in a related field is desirable, but not essential (related fields such as Bachelor of Accounting or Business Administration, etc). High School graduates aged 18+ may be accepted, depending on the strength of their application (including any relevant experience, with a desire to learn and grow within this field).

Accounting internships in Tanzania offer a unique opportunity to work in partnership with a chartered accounting firm. Interns assist a professional and well established team to provide a range of accounting and business development services, and financial training to local businesses of all sizes.

Interns also have the immersive opportunity to learn about and understand local tax and financial governance laws in Tanzania, from a highly experienced and senior local chartered accountant. You’ll receive comprehensive guidance and supervision, with the chance to observe and assist with data management, book keeping and data entry.

You may also get the chance to visit clients to understand their situations, discuss their needs and gain first hand experience working with business owners. Interns are also able to compile financial advisories, guides and resources that are distributed to locals in the community. This can be arranged in Tanzania with your supervisor.

All interns are encouraged to be highly motivated, resilient, and capable of working well within a team in order to learn, cooperate, and get the most out of this internship in Tanzania.
