Internship Details

Business & Marketing interns in Bali, have scope to access a culturally immersive experience, learning about the business world from an ASEAN perspective in Indonesia. Explore tasks related to commercial growth strategies and project development, including market research, analysis, and collaboration initiatives.

Business & Marketing internships in Bali are intended to provide practical experience related to diverse commercial operations. Creative and critical thinking are required, as tasks will involve various SWOT analysis activities, to review opportunities and risks. Come prepared to strategize concerning business efficiencies, online and offline marketing initiatives, collaboration initiatives, and more. Companies in Indonesia are strict and expect a high level of seriousness and dedication from interns. At the same time, interns are always invited to bring fresh ideas to the table, as proactivity and initiative from fresh perspectives are appreciated.

Individual experiences vary, as the specific Business & Marketing internship placement that you’re assigned will depend on review of your resume and your current level of studies and experience. Therefore, if you’re at a more introductory level, you should reasonably expect a more introductory internship. Likewise, if you’re interning for a shorter duration, you will have a different experience from someone who is interning for a longer duration. Placement preferences are considered but always subject to availability.

In all cases, interns should expect that the first week or two of your experience will focus on settling in, gaining some introductory knowledge, and familiarity with Balinese culture and lifestyle. Allow scope for your internship experience to establish and develop, as you establish a foundation of what you can build upon, develop, learn, and contribute. Ensure that you ask questions and provide feedback during the introductory period, so that your supervisor understands how you’re progressing. This will help them to better understand important details, such as how quickly you learn, what you find challenging, what you find interesting, etc.
