Program Overview

To paraphrase a Korean proverb, "The person who hasn’t visited Seoul, hasn’t lived." South Korea's dynamic capital, Seoul, is a captivating blend of tradition and modernity. Its bustling streets are lined with traditional hanbok shops and futuristic technology stores. Ancient palaces coexist with high-rise skyscrapers, creating a unique and vibrant atmosphere.

Overnight excursions

  • Visit Busan to participate in the Busan International Film Festival and explore Korea’s largest seaport and second-largest city
  • See Gangneung to experience provincial life and learn about the impact of hosting the 2018 Winter Olympics
  • Travel to Yeongju to learn about Korean traditional lifestyles and religions, including Confucianism and Buddhism
