Program Overview

Your CIEE Semester Global Internship program in Seville lasts 12 weeks and features three key components: a full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30 hours per week), an internship seminar, and the option to take a course taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Enhance your experience with cultural and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in Spanish culture. Live, learn, and work in Seville!

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Seville will open doors for you to explore Spain’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, contemporary trends, vibrant art, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.      

Samples of past excursions and activities:

  • Explore two of Seville's most iconic landmarks with a knowledgeable guide, including the Giralda Tower and the beautiful gardens of the Alcázar
  • Travel to Granada to visit the stunning Alhambra Palace and the historic Albaicín neighborhood
  • Learn to cook traditional Spanish dishes with a local chef, starting with a tour of the vibrant Triana Market to source fresh ingredients
