Program Overview

Your CIEE Semester Global Internship program in Sydney lasts 12 weeks and features three key components: a full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30 hours per week), an internship seminar, and the option to take a course taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Enhance your experience with cultural and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in Australian culture. Live, learn, and work in Sydney!

  • Embark on a journey to Blue Mountains National Park, hike through rainforests, marvel at the Three Sisters rock formation, and explore the area’s Aboriginal history with expert local guides
  • Experience the thrill of live Australian sports, from rugby to Aussie rules football, surrounded by passionate fans in iconic stadiums like the SCG and Accor Stadium
  • Enjoy Australia’s coastal lifestyle at Sydney’s iconic beaches, such as Manly and Bondi
