With IFSA, you’ll get to know the capital city of Honolulu on the island of Oahu as a visiting student at University of Hawaii at Manoa. Globally recognized for pioneering research in a number of fields and disciplines, UH Manoa has the distinction of being one of the most ethnically diverse institutions of higher education in the country providing endless possibilities. Located in beautiful Manoa valley, UH Manoa is three miles from downtown Honolulu and less than a mile from Waikiki. Honolulu has many unique features and characteristics, is home to America’s only royal palace, and is known for its tropical climate, lush green landscape, diverse population, and community spirit known as
aloha.
During your summer in Hawai‘i, opt to take 3–6 credits during the six-week Session 1 or take 3–6 credits during the six-week Session 2. You can extend your studies by enrolling in both Session 1 and Session 2, earning up to 12 credits.
