Program Overview

Spend your semester in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, where stunning beaches, rich history, and lively music create the perfect setting for an unforgettable academic and cultural adventure. While abroad, you’ll enroll in courses delivered in English by professors at the prestigious Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and at CIEE Santiago D.R. If you're a language learner, enhance your experience with optional Spanish language courses or, if you're a proficient Spanish speaker, enroll in advanced language courses at a local institution. Round out your international education experience with asynchronous online learning through an ASU online course (if approved by your home institution), a for-credit internship, or a service-learning opportunity at local organizations and institutions to embrace community engagement.
